The price.
And what goes into it.
Our estimator gives an indicative range for ordinary security assignments. Staff allocation can change the final rate within that range. We review the site, availability and requirements, then agree a fixed quote before you commit. We are not VAT-registered and do not charge VAT.
Base hourly rates

Four hours minimum per operative. Standard travel within the core area, routine coordination and the agreed shift report are included. Specialist equipment or duties are separately agreed before booking.
Time premiums
All times are London local time. Only the highest applicable premium is charged to each portion of the shift.

Overnight shifts are split at price boundaries. A Saturday night has a £7 premium, not £7 plus £5. Bank holidays supersede night and weekend premiums. Calendar dates use the official England and Wales calendar, checked 6 September 2026 and included through 2028; later dates need review.
One-off short-notice fee

The online guide uses the time you prepare the enquiry. The final notice band is confirmed when the booking is accepted. The fee applies once per operative to the first urgent shift, not to every hour or subsequent pre-agreed shift. It may combine with a time premium. It does not guarantee availability or a response time.
Minimum charge and extensions
If you request fewer than four hours, the remaining minimum-charge hours are priced at the base rate plus the premium applicable at the shift’s start. This adjustment is shown separately. Actual work is calculated by elapsed time, including clock changes. Extensions require agreement and are priced using their applicable time bands.
When we provide an individual quote
- Three or more operatives, shifts of 12 hours or more, or continuous cover.
- Postcodes outside W1, WC1–WC2, EC1–EC4, SW1, SE1 and N1.
- Christmas/New Year peak dates, specialist equipment or unusual duties.
- Assignments needing additional risk, supervision, staffing or access review.
How booking works
Send your enquiry on WhatsApp. We confirm staff availability, scope, arrival arrangements, a fixed price, payment terms and cancellation terms in writing. You then accept those terms. The estimator, message draft and an enquiry alone do not create a confirmed booking. We do not take payment through this website.
Changes or cancellations should be sent to 07401 498009 promptly. The terms agreed with your written booking confirmation apply; the estimator does not impose an automatic cancellation charge.
